for Alone
The film
opening is set in an ordinary house with a middle class, healthy family. She
wakes up one morning to find all of her family to have disappeared and she
starts to have hallucinations of the previous day. After Maddie walks downstairs
and realises the TV is not working and she calls for her dad
Maddie: (Shouts) DAAD! DAD!
She
then walks up the stairs and peers into her parents’ bedroom. She then looks
over her shoulder and calls.
Her facial expressions show that she is starting to panic and hyperventilate.
